Yesterday, Google introduced their first branded smartphone, a virtual-reality headset, a voice-activated home assistant, a Wi-Fi router and an updated version of Chromecast. Their mission? To insert AI software into all your devices and dominate your digital world.

Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai:

“We are evolving from a mobile-first to an AI-first world”.

…and Google has begun to take great strides to get us there.

Their phone announcement came as no surprise to those who follow tech news. ‘Pixel’ competes with the Apple iPhone 7, complete with Google Assistant AI software (Siri anyone?) and is the first to be equipped with Google’s Daydream virtual-reality software. Take a sneak peek of the Pixel:

Their Daydream virtual-reality software lends to the introduction of “Google View”. VR headsets have been around for a while, but Google makes this one affordable with the interactivity of the more expensive headsets, such as the Oculus Rift. The $79 headset will be out in November and the Daydream software will have as many as 50 third-party VR partnerships by the end of the year:

Add to the Pixel and View a voice-activated home assistant – Google “Home” – and you’ve got a company vying for AI domination of your world. They won’t be the last…

We want to know, how will YOU decide which company to hand over your world to?
